| If the consumption exceeds 8 kWh of electricity per day, the owner has a right to charge you for a supplement fee depending of rates in effect. The kWh are invoiced in accordance with the real consumption; the owner and yourself have to record the electric meter readings at your arrival and at your departure. (This applies only to the rentals that propose a pay as you go beating, and not a fixed price beating contract). |
| Swimming Pools |
| If you plan to rent a property with a swimming pool, you must be aware of your responsibility by insuring watchfulness and by keeping under close and constant surveillance any body, and especially children, who might bath. |
| The Security Deposit |
| You need to give a security deposit directly to the owner at your arrival, and it will be given back to you at your departure after having made an inventory and a schedule of conditions of the property with the owner. If you decide to leave the property before the agreed date, it will be given back to you after an inventory made by the owner. If the owner notes any damage, be has a right to charge you cleaning fees. In any case, please ask for a copy of the invoice. |

| Please clean the property before your departure |
| You have found a clean gite at your arrival, so we ask you to clean it again before your departure in order to make the next tenants as satisfied as you were when you came in. Some owners propose to make the final cleaning for a consideration. You just need to make a request to the owner few days before your departure. |
| The reclamation |
| If you need to report a claim, please call the telephone answering service between 4 and 8 pm the day of your arrival or : within 3 days if the claim relates the property description or the schedule of conditions, within 8 days for any other problems. If the claim relates to minor problems as incomplete crockery, awry house equipment... please contact first the owner before calling our local agency. |

| The claims relate to the points below are not considerate as valuable causes of cancellation and cannot be at the origin of any refund or compensation. - Presence of any insects, into, outside or nearby the gîte (ants, spiders, wasps, flies, scorpions, centipedes, european mantid..). - Presence of "disturbing" animals as lizards, snakes, frogs, toads, worms, rodents... - Common noises that are heard in this kind of environment (cicadas and cocks song, bells, church or any else place of worship bell. - Field work : tractors, vine sprayers, watering ans sprinkler irrigation, corn harvesting, grape gathering.. - Presence of leafs, insects ans small animals in ponds and swimming pools despite of a regular cleaning. - Dues to the risk of forest fire in our area, barbecues are forbidden in the gites by-law in certain towns. |
| Cancellation insurance |
| The cancellation insurrance is optional. Il you don't plan to take it, you will be able to deduct the cancellation fee only when you will pay the deposit and not when you will pay the whole price of the rental. |
